It’s March, two months have come and gone, so how far along are you with your diet plans and exercise regimen? Is that beach body ready yet or you gave up last week and made curry noodles and dumped cheese on them like I did? It’s alright! Let’s get that New Year’s resolution re-ignited and pumping with these cool new gadgets that you would have to starve for because it will break your wallet and thus finally completing your 2017 goal weight.

Fly, exercise and cry for how broke you’ve become

Virtual reality gadgets have been sprouting in the market like wild mushrooms in the rainforest. I know our reality in 2017 is a tad bit bleak but no need to escape this far, right… Icaros will probably impress you with its design at first glance then punch you in the gut at the sight of its price. The team at Icaros has good intentions at heart; they aim to tug at your fascination in flying and push you into a world of…fitness. Icaros does seem to make exercise so much more fun than running on a treadmill for half an hour. I have a vision that with this kind of gaming + fitness system, gamers will be the fittest people in the future. Goodness gracious, I sure do hope so.

Small weights for large people

It does seem practical that we have smaller fitness gadgets with this expanding population. There’s nothing much to hype about this adjustable weights. It’s mildly interesting, an innovation that makes you go, “oh, cool,” and probably made you think, “why didn’t I think of that,” then makes me go, “because you don’t even work out,” Okay, we’re done here, let’s pack up our adjustable weights before the hate comes at me.

Yoga but more edgy

For some reason, I have a gut feeling that this idea was sparked under the influence of something. MYB Yogaboard adds a little spice to the zen exercise, it’s self-explanatory. Yoga + board, your guess is wouldn’t be far from the truth. Remember how you always wanted to go to Hawaii? Maybe Maldives or Bora Bora? Just somewhere with the sea, maybe see hot people surfing and tanning your beautiful bod? Why not toss that whole idea away, do yoga on a board and become that hot person people go to Hawaii to see? Yes, this is motivational. I’m trying to motivate you. Go workout, now.

P.S. Go donate to their kickstarter if you want to realise people’s dream and also become a hot yogasurfer.

Drink paper thin water

It is important to exercise, it is also important to hydrate yourself. It is also good to drink water so your breath doesn’t stink up people’s personal space or the whole public bus. Although bottles can be a bit of a hassle, it still can’t excuse you from pouring that clear liquid down your throat. This design is particularly interesting for students, because it’ll fit right into our bags and along all our notes that we cry on when we revise for that test (if you actually go to classes and bother to bring your bag that is). Pretty neat bottle, I’m not sure how it’s fitness related but drink 8 cups of water a day, kids!

Vibrator for your sore muscles

Get your mind out of the gutter. It looks like a bolster that vibrates; good for muscle soreness, circulation, etc. I would like to bring to your attention, because it was probably a tiring workout. Maybe it was leg day and now it hurts in places you didn’t know had nerve tissues. At least you worked out. It’s all-good, but it still hurts.

Well, here you go fellas, an excuse to buy a vibrating object. Say it’s for your soreness, that’ll shut people up.
